That Unknown Feeling

child, drowning, girl and photography - image #8876 on Favim.com

That unknown feeling, much ado,
Myself afloat on serene waters blue,
At once, pulled down, force undue
Pulled by my demons, of dark hue.

That unknown feeling, a blind race,
Falling fiercely, below the surface,
No way, to escape the wild chase,
Where it was leading to, no trace.

That unknown feeling, a deep call,
My heart, a strong standing wall,
Cracking into broken bricks, fall,
Losing my great might, almost all.

That unknown feeling, I despise,
Everything before my pensive eyes,
Fading into the oblivion, terrorized,
The curse chasing me crazily, in guise.

That unknown feeling, I feel not right,
Certainly, the arrival of the dreary night,
Feeling now at peace, I no more fright.
Engulfed in the darkest sleep, with might….

Thank you!

  1. This poem touched my heart. So sublime and gorgeous Aashi. I loved your metaphors.

The curse chasing me crazily, in guise.”
