Six Word Story #16- Success

Here’s my take:

Filling lives with smiles: Her success

With this, I would like to share one of my experiences:

Last year, my institute had organized a quiz competition for differently abled children. Children from various government schools had been invited to take part. First there was a screening test, where we, the NSS volunteers, assisted them to mark their answers in a sheet of paper containing MCQs. The gratitude that I received from them at the end of this round, was astounding. They were extremely humble.

In the second round, the best performers of the first round were called on the stage and the quiz master presented various questions on the screen to test them and there were various rounds like buzzer round, pictionary and many others.

I was extremely glad to see the enthusiasm with which they answered the questions. Smallest of the things made them feel so happy, making me realize that how we people ignore the small happiness in our life and hold on to small problems for a long time. Inspite of their condition, they are so content. The smiles on their faces stole my heart. Their smiles made my day. I consider that day to be one of the best days of my life. A lovely experience indeed!
