My Sanctum

Emotions streaming from brains,
Break free from these open hands,
Embellishing the wretched walls,
Sentiments of all sorts, of any kind,
Pitch dark as the threatening hell,
Or bright as the sun high in the sky,
Tearing apart, flaming fiery fights,
Or amorous love flowing in air,
Whole burden of crushing stress,
Or random strokes easing, relaxing,
Destruction by man’s self-absorption,
Or serene, healing nature’s beauty,
Black, spreading hatred all around,
Or purity and peace of whiteness,
Those same old, ragged thoughts deep,
Or fresh new ideas bloom on surface,
Agitated at times, chaotic scribblings,
Or beautiful splash of palette colours,
A museum, merely a grand showcase,
For those few visitors who come by,
For me, that peaceful little sanctum,
Always resonating with my emotions……

  1. This poetry resonates with every artists/writers/creators and their creations. A lot of people see it as one thing but for the creator of that art it means a lot more. ❤️ nicely written
